I never thought we would be this quiet :)...

must mean we are working hard!

What a whirlwind these last few months have been. I got my job offer the day before graduation and I am already starting on my tenth week of work. I've barely had time to catch my breath! I am working as a fellow at RML Specialty Hospital which is a long term acute care hospital (LTCH) in Chicago. Four weeks after I arrived we merged with Advocate's LTCH in the city....and yes, I often think of PDJ's merger lectures :). It has really been a unique learning experience.

My favorite projects thus far have been those focused on organizational performance improvement and preparing for the joint commission's review. What is everyone else working on?

Does anyone have any suggestions for national conferences that I should attend? My fellowship allows me to attend one conference of my choice and I haven't found one that I want to attend yet. Ideas?

Alright, let's talk football. Anyone planning on any games this Fall? I am driving down to Notre Dame for the ND-Michigan game and probably going back to Ann Arbor for the game around JRG's last lecture. Are people attending the last lecture or know how we can get the current student price? I think they are charging your first born child if you have already graduated.

Well, I better get back to it. let me know if any of you are ever in the Chicago area. Would love to see you!
